The proper handling of group business RFPs is critical to your success as a hotelier. In order to get more group business on the books in 2012 and beyond it is important to understand your meeting and event planner clients. As planners become more strategic in their venue sourcing and expect more value and a higher cost of savings for each event they conduct, hotel execs must be prepared to find ways to quickly and efficiently score and prioritize RFPs. 

In past posts on the Cvent Hospitality Blog, we have addressed what planners are looking for in RFP responses. On Thursday, March 1, at 1:30 pm EST Cvent will be hosting a free, live videocast from our Corporate Meetings Summit on Strategies to Get Your Meeting RFP Top Priority Attention.” We invite all hotel suppliers to join us to hear the questions that meeting and event planners are raising about the RFP process. During this interactive panel session senior leadership from top hotel chains will also share their insights with corporate meeting professionals on how RFPs are scored and prioritzed in order to get their RFPs considered first.
